Clifton Hampden Neighbourhood Development Order
Bucot and Clifton Hampden Parish Council is working on a neighbourhood development order to grant planning permission for a new GP surgery, 17 new houses (including four for affordable housing), an extension to the village hall, additional parking and a new burial ground, located on two sites near the centre of the village of Clifton Hampden.
The parish council is also working to create a neighbourhood plan.
What’s happening now?
The publicity period on the draft neighbourhood development order concluded on 11 April 2023. The draft neighbourhood development order documents and comments received during the publicity period (Updated September 2023) have now been submitted for independent examination.
Andrew Ashcroft – Independent Examiner has been appointed by the district council to carry out the examination. The examiner’s role is to make recommendations on the draft development order, and ultimately if the development order should proceed to referendum.
The examiner issued a Clarification Note, which sets out initial comments on the submitted development order and areas where further clarification would be helpful.
