East Hagbourne Neighbourhood Plan

East Hagbourne Parish Council is working on creating a neighbourhood plan. The process empowers local communities to help direct and shape the way their area grows and develops into the future. A neighbourhood plan will form part of the development plan, which helps to determine planning applications.

What’s happening now?

The parish council recently ran a consultation, which ended on 14 April 2018. The local community and statutory consultees were invited to offer their comments on the draft neighbourhood plan. The comments received are being reviewed, the plan will then be submitted to us.  We will then organise six-week consultation followed by the independent examination.

If you want to get involved in the process, please contact the Parish Council. More information on the process is available on our Neighbourhood Planning home page.

If you would like to discuss neighbourhood planning with a member of the team, please call us on 01235 422600 or email planning.policy@southoxon.gov.uk.
