Our Envirocrime team carried out a joint operation with Thames Valley Police this month at Sonning Eye to reduce the amount of waste being carried illegally.
More than 35 vehicles were stopped and inspected, one Fixed Penalty was issued for carrying waste without a valid Waste Carriers Licence, one for collecting scrap metal without a Scrap metal licence and a further four investigations are ongoing.
