Elections and electoral registration

The South Oxfordshire District Council Elections Office is responsible for organising any election within the district, including local, Parliamentary and European elections.

Local elections in the South take place every four years with members voted onto the district council.

The South's Elections Team also maintains the South's Electoral Register, which voters need to be on in order to be entitled to vote in an election. This section explains how you can register to vote and the different ways in which you can vote.

If you need any more information about voting in the South please contact the Elections Office.
