Making a planning application

Planning update 1 August 2025

Following council wide IT maintenance and downtime we have a backlog of planning applications. We regret that we are currently unable to offer a full level of service to customers and are phasing the reintroduction of services.  At present we are working approximately three to four weeks behind our standard time for processing planning applications. 

We have taken steps to address the situation and will update this website with revised timescales in due course.

In the meantime we thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
