  • Advance notice of major council IT system maintenance from 24 May (for around one week): we are carrying out planned essential maintenance work on the council’s IT systems. During this time, the majority of our online services will be unavailable. Where relevant, planning consultations will be extended by 14 days. How to apply to drop a kerb, create or alter an access

If you’d like to drop your kerb, create or alter an access, please download and complete the form below and send it via email or post to the planning team.  You’ll also need to send a completed sketch plan and any other relevant attachments at the same time.

This is not an official planning application and costs £113.00 including VAT.  Once we’ve processed the form and information, we will provide you with a reference number so the fee can be paid online.

We aim to get a response to you within 20 working days of receiving all the necessary paperwork and fee.

After you’ve received our response, you will need to contact Oxfordshire County Council directly regarding their application process. Their application form and guidance is available on the Oxfordshire County Council website.

If our response advises that planning permission is not required, this can be used as the confirmation in writing for your application to Oxfordshire County Council.

If you want a legally-binding response, you will need to apply for a Lawful Development Certificate, although this is not a requirement for your application to Oxfordshire County Council.
