Warborough and Shillingford Neighbourhood Plan

Following a successful referendum result on 5 February 2026, the Warborough and Shillingford Neighbourhood Plan Review has become part of the development plan. The Plan Review replaces the Warborough and Shillingford Neighbourhood Plan made on 11 October 2018. 

On 5 February 2026 residents voted for the adoption of the Warborough and Shillingford Neighbourhood Plan Review. The Plan has become part of the Development Plan and carries full weight in the determination of planning applications. 

The official referendum results were: 

  • Votes in favour of adopting the neighbourhood plan review: 362 (98.6%) 
  • Votes against adopting the neighbourhood plan review: 5 (1.4%) 
  • Turnout: 367 (44.8%)

The neighbourhood plan will be presented to South Oxfordshire District Council on 12 February 2026 where the decision will be taken on whether the plan review should be made and continue to be part of the development plan
