Long Wittenham Parish Council has reviewed their neighbourhood plan and submitted the modified version to us. If adopted it will replace the current plan.
As the proposal for the reviewed plan is considered to contain significant modifications, it needs to undergo an independent examination and, subject to the examiner’s recommendations, to be put to a local referendum.
The independent examiner, Andrew Ashcroft, has issued an Update and Preliminary Findings. In response to the examiner’s update, Long Wittenham Parish Council confirmed that they wish to undertake further work on the archaeological significance of the Community Hub site and produce a further update to the Environmental Report. The Parish Council will provide a more detailed timetable for the further work to be undertaken in due course
More information on the process is available on our Neighbourhood Planning Resources page.
