Running from 9am to 3pm, the day features a variety of sessions including Titan Tots & Bouncy Castle, Born to Move classes, Football coaching, dance workshops, New Age Kurling and Boccia, family Pickleball, Junior Spin and Aqua Splash.
In addition to the activities, attendees can learn about local health and wellbeing programmes such as YouMove and Move Together, as well as membership options at the leisure centre.
More Half-Term Fun at The Beacon and Cornerstone
For those seeking additional entertainment, this May half-term also offers magical storytelling and creative fun. On Saturday 31 May, Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot presents Woodland Tales with Granddad, a lively puppet-filled adventure for all ages. Earlier in the week, on Wednesday 28 May at 11am, children can get creative at Cornerstone’s Bug friends craft session.
Meanwhile, The Beacon in Wantage stages the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof, from Local theatre company Jigsaw Stage productions, running from 30 to 31 May, featuring beloved songs like “If I were a rich man” and “Sunrise, Sunset.” It’s a week of wonder, imagination, and musical magic for the whole family.
Spaces for certain sessions are limited, so early booking is recommended for all activities to avoid disappointment.
