Building Control Inspections

Please be advised that essential IT system maintenance will be taking place across the council from Friday 24th May. This work is expected to last for up to one week and may affect access to some online services, including Building Control application submissions and inspection bookings.

During this period, inspection requests can still be made via email or telephone. Please contact us at building.control@southandvale.gov.uk or call 01235 422700.

However, please note that completion inspections will not be available during this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding while this essential maintenance is carried out to ensure the continued security and reliability of our systems.

If you would like to book an inspection, you can do so here.

You will need your Building Control reference number or the site address. (Please do not include /F, /B, or U as part of the reference number).

Please note inspections must be booked by 3:30pm the day before the inspection is required.
