Information on the Tree Warden Scheme in South Oxfordshire

Welcome to the South Oxfordshire Tree Wardens' website. This website is for you, the Tree Warden, and for those interested in what Tree Wardens do.  So let us know what you would like to see on these pages.

This website is a fantastic way of communicating with other Tree Wardens.  Please contact the forestry team with your news and events, share photographs, keep up to date with the latest information on trees, their health, protection and heritage.

If you are interested in becoming a Tree Warden, visit the Becoming a Tree Warden section of the website for more information.

Thank you!

The council would like to say a big thank you to those who contributed to the Landmark Tree Survey work.  We now have a large amount of data on trees in Whitchurch, Henley and Warborough and hope to be able to begin digitising the records for use on our GIS mapping system in the near future.  This will enable our team to recognise when an important tree may be under threat.  But there is plenty left to do, so if you are interested in getting involved please contact the forestry team.
