Wallingford bathing season opens this week

This week sees the start of the bathing season in England, and this means that from 15 May, regular tests will be carried out on water samples from the River Thames at Wallingford throughout the summer.

Wallingford Beach awarded bathing water status

Defra has announced that a stretch of the River Thames at Wallingford Beach will officially become a designated bathing water, joining a total of 27 other bathing sites across the country.
