There are table tennis tables available to use across the district.
The tables are part of an ongoing initiative to help residents be active and healthy.
The council has been working alongside Table Tennis England, the Didcot Garden Town project team, Didcot Town Council and other town and parish councils to part fund the tables.
There are permanent tables in the following outdoor locations:
- Edmunds Park, Didcot, OX11 8QE
- Ladygrove Park, Tyne Avenue, Didcot OX11 7UL
- Great Western Drive Recreational play area, Didcot, OX11 7PF
- Chalgrove – Chalgrove Village Hall, OX44 7TE – coming soon
- Beckley and Stowood – Folly Farm, Common Road, Beckley OX3 9UR – coming soon
- Chinnor- White’s Field, Mill Lane OX39 4RF – (x 2 tables)
The following locations have tables indoors:
The Southern (OX11 6HQ) and District Community (OX11 6GR) centres on Great Western Park, Didcot – coming soon
And there are semi-permanent tables in:
- Benson – Park at Sunneyside, Benson, OX10 6LZ – coming soon
- Lewknor – Near Jubilee Hall, High Street Lewknor, OX49 5TL
All facilities are free to use except the indoor tables where there will be a small charge and you can hire the bats and balls. Residents wanting to use the outdoor tables will need to bring their own bats and balls.

Sport In Mind
Sport In Mind hold a free weekly walk for Mental Wellbeing in Didcot.
The walk is a fun, relaxed group, for people experiencing mental health problems. Lasting between 20 and 30 minutes (Please bring a bottle of water and raincoat if you wish). It takes place every Wednesday at 2pm and they meet at Fleet Meadow Community Hall car park. Please contact Liz McElroy for more details 07760958668
Active Reach is a community-based, collaborative project funded by Sport England and brings together local charities, grass-roots groups and individuals to help people in the greatest need increase their activity levels and protect both their physical and mental wellbeing.
