The Sonning common neighbourhood plan has been formally made and is now part of the Development Plan
On 13 October 2016 Sonning Common Neighbourhood Plan was officially ‘made’ (adopted) by South Oxfordshire District Council and is now part of the Development Plan. To view the ‘made’ plan please click the following links:
The official referendum results were as follows:
- Votes in favour of adopting the neighbourhood plan – 1,344 (94.1%)
- Votes against adopting the neighbourhood plan – 82 (5.7%)

How to view comments
Area Designation consultation
Sonning Common Parish Council submitted a Neighbourhood Area application to the council which we published for a six week consultation period ending on 18 October 2013. The council approved the area application on 25 October after reviewing the responses to the consultation.
