Government confirms three new unitary councils for Oxfordshire and West Berkshire in 2028  

The government has announced that Oxfordshire and West Berkshire’s seven existing councils will be replaced by three unitary councils from 1 April 2028 as part of its plans for local government reorganisation (LGR).

Electric car club trial extended until September 2024

A year long Oxfordshire car sharing pilot scheme, launched in April 2023, is being extended by six months due to popular demand, with more vehicles to be added to the scheme shortly.
