We monitor air quality and will act if we find any problems. Vehicle emissions in our historic towns and villages tend to be the cause of the biggest problems in a rural area like ours.
All current and historic information on air quality across our district and the whole county can be found on the Oxfordshire air quality website.
To address the air quality issues in our district, we have published an air quality action plan and a Low Emission Strategy that gives details on how air quality issues can be tackled by working with local communities to make a difference. Details of our latest air quality reports are also on this website.
