Safe Places scheme

The national Safe Places scheme aims to help vulnerable people if they feel scared or at risk while they are out and about in the community and need support. If someone is feeling lost, anxious, confused, bullied, abused or harassed they can go to a safe place.

Registered places in the scheme are identified by this logo in the window of participating businesses and community centres.

Individuals can also carry a card with emergency contact details. Cards can be picked up at participating locations, or you can contact us.

Visit safeplaces.org.uk for more information on the scheme and to find out the towns where the scheme is available.
