That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That samples of the materials to be used to construct the brick plinth shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That the brickwork to be used in the walls of the plinth shall be pointed using a lime-based mortar mix. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
