Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 16th December 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the use of this part of the site for the provision of additional static caravans would diminish the availability of the site for use by touring caravans and for camping contrary to the provisions of policies TSM1 and TSM2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan which encourage and seek to improve the range of tourist attractions and facilities. Furthermore the proposal would extend the limits of residential development beyond any recognised settlement contrary to the provisions of policies H6, H19 and H20 of the adopted Local Plan. That the stationing of caravans permanently on this part of the site would compound the existing visual intrusion of static caravans harmful to an area designated as being of great landscape value contrary to the provisions of policy C3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
