Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That the false timber gates to the carriageway entrance on the front elevation and the boarding to the bottle store shall be constructed with vertical dark stained timber boarding prior to the first use of the lobby/cellar and botttle store respectively and shall thereafter be retained and maintained. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any works commence. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building. That, prior to the commencement of works on the site, details of the alterations to the ground floor fireplace shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and appearance of the listed building.
