That, having particular regard to the size, design and location of the
garage and its resultant prominence within the streetscene, its
retention would result in an inappropriate form of development
that would detract from the character of the existing property and
the appearance of the surrounding area.  As such, the proposal
would be contrary to the provisions of the adopted South Oxfordshire
Local Plan, particularly policies G8 and H12.
