Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to
provide protection for the building against the weather during the
progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and
finishes of the development hereby permitted shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the
works are commenced.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.
That a detailed schedule of works, including a structural survey
of the existing building clearly indicating all parts of the structure
to be retained, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the
Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of the development.
The schedule shall include insultation details, mortar mixes, surface
treatments, reinstatement of the timber supports in the proposed
garden room, all joinery details and ventilation details and
rainwater goods.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
