Planning Permission on 25th February 2000
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That the materials to be used for the making good of the walls shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That samples of the materials to be used for the roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences and the roofing material used shall not be other than that approved. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That development shall not begin until a detailed specification of the type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors, rainwater goods and means of ventilation shall be in accordance with the approved specification. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That the additional living accommodation hereby permitted shall be occupied and used only in connection with and ancillary to the occupation and use of the existing property Solanum Farm as a single dwellinghouse, as specified in the application, and shall not be occupied or used separately therefrom. Reason: As the separate occupation of the accommodation would represent an undesirable sub-division of the property and result in inadequate standards of amenity and privacy. That notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3 of, and Class A of Part 1 of schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1988 (or any order revoking and re-enacting that order), no additional windows, rooflights or doors to be inserted in the building unless planning permission has first been granted by the Local Planning Authority on a formal application in respect thereof. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the listed building and the area in general.
