location and to its siting remote from the main dwelling, the proposed
garage building would result in an inappropriate and intrusive form
of development which would be detrimental to the character of the
street scene and detract from the character and amenity of the area
which lies within an Area of Great Landscape Value. Therefore the
development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's
adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G1, G8 and
C3.
