Decision
Planning Permission on 21st December 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That the development shall be constructed and finished in accordance
with the details of materials and finishes specified on drawing
number 1330/1B unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning
Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That the additional living accommodation hereby permitted shall be
occupied and used only in connection with and ancillary to the occupation
and use of the existing property Harpsden Gate as a single dwellinghouse,
as specified in the application, and shall not be occupied or used
separately therefrom.
Reason: As the separate occupation of the accommodation would represent
an undesirable sub-division of the property and result in
inadequate standards of amenity and privacy.
That the garage shall be used only for purposes incidental to the
enjoyment of the dwellinghouse as such, and for no other purpose
whatsoever.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.
