That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

That the use hereby permitted shall be carried on only by Mr Max Macarthur whilst he is resident at Hodmore Farmhouse, Mapledurham. Reason: Planning permission is only granted in view of the special low key nature of the business and the fact that neighbouring property is occupied by applicant, Mr Macarthur, in accordance with policies C11 and E6 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the application site shall only be used for the sale, repair, servicing and valeting of motor vehicles and for no other purpose. Reason: In order to protect the character and appearance of this part of the open countryside and Chiltern's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with policies C1, C2 and C11 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

That the open land within the application site and outside the buildings shall not be used for any purposes associated with the sale, repair, servicing or valeting of motor vehicles, other than for the following purposes: i) The washing, only, of vehicles on the land immediately to the north of the building 'A' identified for" valeting" on the plan received on 31 March 2003. ii) The parking of employees' and visitors' vehicles only on the land shown hatched on the plan received on 31 March 2003. iii) The manoeuvring, loading and unloading of vehicles. Reason: In order to protect the character and appearance of this part of the open countryside and Chiltern's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in accordance with policies C1, C2 and C11 of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
