Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and
Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such
steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the
safety and stability of the side and front boundary walls during the
alterations, and to provide protection for the side and front boundary
walls against the weather during the progress of the works.
Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the front and side
boundary walls.
That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and
finishes of the development hereby permitted shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the
work is commenced.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the
Henley-on-Thames Conservation Area.
That the new brickwork shall be pointed using a lime-based mortar mix.
Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character and
appearance of the listed building and the amenity of the
Henley-on-Thames Conservation Area.
That details of the proposed railings and new side walls be submitted
to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the
works commence.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
That the garage doors shall be side hung painted timber with the colour
of the finish having first been submitted to and approved in writing
by the Local Planning Authority before any work commences.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory.
