Decision
Planning Permission on 22nd February 2000
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before any development commences. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.

That the building shall only be used for purposes incidental to the use of Lock End as a single dwellinghouse and shall not be used as additional or ancillary residential accommodation. Reason: The separate occupation of the building for residential purposes would be contrary to the Council's adopted planning policies.

That except insofar as may be otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority, all trees, shrubs and hedges on the land shall be retained and protected during the course of the development and for a period of five years following the completion of the development. Any trees, shrubs or plants which within that period die, are removed or become seriously damaged or diseased, shall be replaced in the next planting season with others of a similar size and species, unless the Local Planning Authority gives written consent to any variation. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.

That prior to the commencement of the development a detailed specification of the foundations to be used for the building shall be submitted to and be approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority and thereafter the development shall be carried out in all respects in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To protect the existing trees.
