Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That no development shall take place until details of both hard and soft landscaping works have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the hard landscaping works shall be carried out prior to the first use of the car park hereby permitted. Reason: To secure a satisfactory appearance. That all planting comprised in the details of soft landscaping approved pursuant to condition 2 shall be carried out in the first planting season following the first use of the car park or the completion of the development whichever is the sooner. Any trees or plants which die within a period of five years from the completion of the development die are removed or become seriously damaged or diseased shall be replaced in the next planting season by others of a similar size and species unless the Local Planning Authority gives its prior written consent to any variation. Reason: To secure a satisfactory appearance. That the parking spaces shall be laid out as shown on the drawing number BPS01000/02 Rev C unless the Local Planning Authority has given its prior consent to any variation in writing. Reason: To secure a satisfactory layout. That prior to the first use of the car park hereby permitted the means of access between the land and the highway shall be formed, laid out and constructed with 2.4m x 70 metre vision splays as indicated on the approved plan. Reason: In the interest of highway safety and convenience.
