Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That no development shall take place until details of both hard and
soft landscaping works have been submitted to and approved in writing
by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the hard landscaping
works shall be carried out prior to the first use of the car park
hereby permitted.
Reason: To secure a satisfactory appearance.
That all planting comprised in the details of soft landscaping approved
pursuant to condition 2 shall be carried out in the first planting
season following the first use of the car park or the completion
of the development whichever is the sooner. Any trees or plants
which die within a period of five years from the completion of the
development die, are removed or become seriously damaged or diseased
shall be replaced in the next planting season by others of a similar
size and species unless the Local Planning Authority gives its prior
written consent to any variation.
Reason: To secure a satisfactory appearance.
That no soakaways shall be constructed such that they penetrate the
water table and they shall not in any event exceed 1 metre in depth
below existing ground level.
Reason: To prevent the pollution of ground water.
That no soakaways shall be constructed in contaminated ground.
Reason: To prevent the pollution of ground water.
That prior to the commencement of any other work, details of the
proposed method of disposal of surface water shall be submitted
to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter
the development shall not proceed other than in accordance with the
approved details.
Reason: In the interests of public health and to avoid pollution.
That the parking spaces shall be laid out as shown on drawing no
BPSO13674/20/B unless the Local Planning Authority has given its prior
written consent to any variation.
Reason: To secure a satisfactory layout.
That prior to the commencement of any other work in connection with
the car park hereby permitted details of the extent and specification
of the footpaths and traffic calming measures shall be submitted to
and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter
the footpaths and traffic calming measures shall be provided in accordance
with the approved drawings prior to the first use of the car park.
Reason: In the interest of pedestrian and vehicular safety and convenience.
That, prior to the commencement of any other work in connection with the
car park, details of the lighting scheme shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Such details
shall include the location, height, type, direction of the light
sources and their intensity. Thereafter the lighting shall be installed
in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To protect local amenities.
