Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 27th October 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the position of the detached garage serving the 4 bedroom house, the creation of the second access and the resultant removal of the hedgerow along the roadside boundary, the proposal would detract from the character and visual amenity of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Furthermore, it is considered that the siting of the garage serving the 4 bedroom house immediately in front of the kitchen window would result in a poor quality of living environment for the future occupants of that property. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G8, H5 and C2.
