Decision
Refusal of Listed Building Consent on 10th November 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its size and design, the proposed fire escape would represent an inappropriate and undesirable addition to this building, detracting from the character and appearance of the simple, but attractive, rear (north west) elevation of the building. As such the extension would detract from the character and appearance of the Grade II listed building. The extension would therefore be contrary to the Council's policies contained in the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policy CON 6.
