Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 11th August 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, the insertion of dormer windows and box roof dormer would be detrimental to the simple form and agricultural character and appearance of the existing building. As such the proposal would represent an incongruous and inappropriate form of development which would be detrimental to the rural character and appearance of the property and the locality which lies within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies C2 and H12.
