Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of
five years from the date of this consent.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 18 and 74 of the Planning (Listed Buildings
and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
That no demolition shall commence until a contract for the carrying
out of the works of redevelopment has been made and planning permission
for those works has been granted.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Watlington
Conservation Area.
That within 28 days of the commencement of the demolition of the front
boundary wall and garage all resulting materials shall be removed
from the site.
Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Watlington
Conservation Area.
That a full archaeological watching brief shall be carried out during
the period of construction works in accordance with details and by a
professionally competent archaeological organisation which shall have
been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority before development commences. The brief shall include the
recording of any archaeological features revealed, limited
archaeological excavation and the retrieval of artefactual evidence.
Reason: As the site is of archaeological importance.
