Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That the materials to be used for the external walls and roof shall be of
the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing dwelling.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That samples of the materials to be used for the roof of the garage
shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning
Authority before any development commences. Thereafter the slate or
roof tile used shall not be other than that approved.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That prior to the first use of the garage hereby permitted the
horizontal timber boarding used to clad the walls shall be stained
dark brown or black and shall thereafter be retained as such.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That the garage building hereby permitted shall be used only for
purposes specified in the application, for the storage of cars and
purposes incidental to the occupation of 24 Woodlands Road and the
building shall not be used as habitable accommodation or for any
commercial/business purpose.
Reason: To accord with the policy of the Local Planning Authority
and to safeguard the character of the area.
That prior to the commencement of development of the garaging hereby
approved, the existing garage building shall be removed from site
including all materials.
Reason: In the interests of protecting neighbouring amenities.
