Decision
Planning Permission on 11th August 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. That the external walls and roofs of the building be constructed and finished in accordance with a schedule of materials and finishes which shall first have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the development commences. Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory. That the studio hereby permitted shall remain as ancillary to the use of the existing dwelling as one residential unit and shall not be occupied separately. Reason: As the separate occupation of the accommodation would represent an undesirable sub-division of the property and result in inadequate standards of amenity and privacy. That except insofar as may be otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority, all trees, shrubs and hedges on the land shall be retained and protected during the course of the development and for a period of five years following the completion of the development. Any trees, shrubs or plants which within that period die, are removed or become seriously damaged or diseased, shall be replaced in the next planting season with others of a similar size and species, unless the Local Planning Authority gives written consent to any variation. Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.
