Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That the materials to be used for the making good of the walls shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That samples of the materials to be used for the external walls and roof of the extension shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Auhtority before any works commence. Reason: To ensure that the details of the works are satisfactory. That no works shall commence on site until the applicant has been responsible for organising an archaeological watching brief, to be maintained during the period of construction/during any groundworks taking place on the site. The watching brief shall be carried out in accordance with a written specification and by a professional archaeological organisation that has first been agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the recording and inspection of matters of archaeological importance on the site.
