That, having regard to its excessive, size and bulk and to its location
in close proximity to the boundary with the adjacent bungalows,
24 and 26 Paul's Way, the proposal would have an oppressive and
overbearing impact on the occupants of those properties which would
lead to a loss of light to their rear gardens and rear windows which
would be detrimental to their residential amenities. In addition the
proposed extension would be detrimental to the character and appearance
of the existing dwelling. As such, the proposal would be contrary
to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local
Plan, particularly policy H12.
