Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That, no works shall commence until there has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority, a detailed schedule for both phases of the repairs, refurbishment and alterations to the Coach House, Tea-Room, Dairy and Game Larder including an enlarged drawing of the alterations to the loggia and the enlarged window in the east elevation of the Coach House. Thereafter the repairs, refurbishment and alterations shall be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character of the buildings. That no work shall commence on the buildings until there has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a schedule of all materials (with samples where appropriate) for the making good of the interior and exterior surfaces of the buildings; thereafter the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. Reason: To safeguard the architectural and historic character of the buildings. That no work shall commence until there has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority a detailed specification of the type, design and finish of all windows, external doors, ventilation and extraction equipment and rainwater goods. Thereafter the works shall be carried out in accordance with the approved specification. Reason: To safeguard the character and appearance of the buildings.
