That the use of the land for storage purposes, particularly the siting of storage containers, represents an unacceptable and visually intrusive use in the open countryside within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  As such, the development neither preserves nor enhances the character and landscape quality of the AONB.  Furthermore there is no justification to warrant a departure from established planning policies, and therefore the development is contrary to policies C1, C2, E1, E3 and E6 of the Council's South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
