Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 28th July 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development would result in the removal of six trees, protected by a Tree Preservation Order. The group of trees, which are part of a group Tree Preservation Order, are of amenity importance. Their loss would erode the appearance of the copse and, together with the loss of the bank of mature Hawthorne, would significantly detract from the character of the area. The development would therefore be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G8, C16 and C17.
