That the works hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of five years from the date of this consent. Reason: By virtue of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. That before any work is undertaken in pursuance of this consent, such steps shall be taken and such works shall be carried out to secure the safety and stability of the building during the alterations, and to provide protection for the building against the weather during the progress of the works. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That, prior to the commencement of the works hereby approved, a full schedule of works shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority and thereafter the works carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That, prior to the commencement of the works hereby approved, full details of the reinstated lower jetty on the east elevation shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planing Authority and thereafter the works carried out in accordance with the approved details. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building. That no works shall take place on site until the detailed record of the building has been carried out. This must be carried out by an archaeological/building consultant or organisation in accordance with a scheme of investigation which shall first have been submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To secure the safety and protection of the listed building.
