Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the playing and practising of golf shall be carried on only
within the red edged site area indicated on 1:2500 plan accompanying
the application and shall not take place, nor shall any ancillary
golfing activities take place (other than the passage of vehicles and
equipment for maintaining the courses) on any other part of the land
edged in blue.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the local landscape.
That no hedgerows or hedgerow trees within or on the boundaries
of the application site shall be topped or lopped, (save and except for
the cutting back of the hedgerows to facilitate free passage along
Dog Lane) at any time without the express written consent of the
Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the local landscape.
That no ground remodelling, earth moving, works, change of any ground
levels or tipping shall take place in any part of the site without
the express planning permission first being obtained on an application
duly made to the Local Planning Authority in that respect.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the local landscape.
That no part of the site shall be used at any time as a golf driving
range.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the local landscape.
That the existing car park as indicated on drawing number 1 shall be
kept open and available at all times for players and visitors to the site.
Reason: To ensure the continued availability of car parking provision
on site.
That the existing portable toilets shall be removed from the site
following the implementation of an approved alternative scheme for toilet
provision which shall have had the benefit of express planning permission.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the local landscape
and to ensure the continued provision of public toilets.
That a building containing toilets for use by players and visitors to
the course shall be provided in accordance with an approved scheme,
pursuant to the requirements of condition 6, within 12 months of the
date of this permission. Thereafter the toilets provided shall be
kept open and made available to players and visitors to the course
during the hours that golf is played.
Reason: To protect the character and appearance of the local landscape
and to ensure the continued provision of toilet facilities.
