Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 14th April 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to its excessive size and bulk, to its relationship with the adjoining property 9 Newfield Road and to its prominent corner location, the proposed replacement dwelling would result in inappropriate, incongruous and unneighbourly form of development which would be oppressive and overbearing to 9 Newfield Road and would detract from the character and amenity of the locality. Therefore, the development would be contrary to the provisions of the Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, particularly policies G8 and H4.
Appeal
