Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of five
years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition
is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990.
That samples of all materials to be used in the external construction and
finishes of the development hereby permitted shall be submitted to and
approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the
development is commenced.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area.
That the bricks to be used in the construction of the extension hereby
permitted shall be laid with a traditional lime mortar mix.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That development shall not begin until a detailed specification of the
type, design and external finish of all windows, external doors and
rainwater goods has been submitted to and approved in writing by the
Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To ensure that the details of the development are satisfactory.
That a sample panel of brick work to be used for external walls measuring
one metre by one metre, shall be made available on site for inspection
and approval by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter the walls shall
be constructed in accordance with the approved details and shall not be
altered without the prior written approval of the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To protect the character of the listed building and secure a
satisfactory appearance.
