Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development would be contrary to Policies S1 and S7 of the
Council's adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, in that the loss of
the bakery shop and post office would not maintain, but would reduce
the vitality of this village centre.  The loss of this long established
local business would also harm the character of the Chalgrove
Conservation Area which the Council has a duty to preserve in
accordance with policy CON8 and CON15 of the Council's adopted Local Plan.
