Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 17th November 1999
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposal would be contrary to policies GB2, C3 and H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan, and Government advice in PPG2 - Green Belts. Having regard to the size and bulk of the proposed extensions, the proposal represents an inappropriate form of development in the Oxford Green Belt which is, by definition, harmful to the Green Belt. The proposals would also be prominent and intrusive in this isolated location, and detract from the open, rural character of the Oxford Green Belt and an Area of Great Landscape Value.
