That the proposal would be contrary to policy H12 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan. Having regard to the size and bulk of the proposed extensions and their proximity to the adjacent property, No 6 Fanshawe Road, the proposal is considered to be an unneighbourly and overbearing form of development by reason of intrusion and loss of privacy. In addition, it is considered that the proposal would appear out of keeping with its surroundings and the provision of the necessary car parking spaces to provide for the enlarged dwelling would result in the loss of all of the front garden to the detriment of the character of the area.
