That the proposal would be contrary to policy G7 of the adopted South
Oxfordshire Local Plan. The proposal to use the ground floor of the
premises for the sale of hot food is considered to be an inappropriate
form of development in that it would have a detrimental effect on the
amenities enjoyed by adjacent residential occupiers by reason of
increased noise and disturbance from increased vehicular and pedestrian
traffic, particularly during the late evening hours.
That inadequate information accompanies the application to demonstrate
that the property can be ventilated satisfactorily to avoid problems
of food odour.
That the proposal represents the further intensification of a use
which would be harmful to the character of the Chinnor Conservation
Area.
