The proposed extension would be contrary to policy GB2 of the adopted
South Oxfordshire Local Plan and Government advice in PPG2 - Green Belts.
Having regard to the size of the extension and the facilities to be
provided, it would result in a disproportionate addition in relation
to the size of the existing building and be tantamount to a new
dwelling in the Oxford Green Belt.
The size, bulk and height of the proposed extension would be out of
keeping with the character of the existing dwelling so being contrary
to both policies H12 and GB2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
